I enjoy just wandering the city streets and capturing life occurring “backstage.” This shot of a tender trans-species interaction is a case in point. I got several shots around St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephansdom) of the carriage horses and their drivers. Although I could probably tell you half-a-dozen things I would have done differently if I could have redone this shot, the moment captured (or the “gesture” as some photographers call it) made it one of my favorites of this series of photos.
